The Ultimate Abu Dhabi Party Brunch: Craft by Side Hustle Saturday Brunch

Abu Dhabi needed a party brunch in the city, and the launch of this 4-hour brunch totally brings the vibe - and more! With great food, tons of creative cocktails (popcorn old-fashioned or bayou bliss anyone?) and mocktails, and a huge selection of spirits, as well as craft beers made in-house, this is a brunch you will want to do over and over again.

FOOD

Food is unlimited and massively good, with Chef Troy Payne kicking it up a gear here: order whatever you fancy as many times as you want. The food is designed to be shared (but there might be some dishes that you want all to yourself!).  We recommend kicking off with the warm, fresh pretzel and a slather of the house-made pale ale mustard & butter. Don’t miss the hot, crispy chicken tenders in an excellent batter, dipped into a velvety sauce with just the right amount of smokiness. Be prepared - the hot brisket nachos might be something you order more than one of! 

The smokehouse meats are epic - the small but perfectly formed burnt ends are positively drool-worthy, and the brisket is ridiculously tender. The sweet and sticky chicken wings are 100% worth getting messy for - let’s just say you’ll be thankful of the wet wipes on the table! A huge veggie platter is also available for vegetarians.

The sides here are not an afterthought, they're to be celebrated in their own right! The buttery corn ribs are firmly on the reorder list and the roasted josper broccoli is outstanding.

To finish? Choose between the deliciously fudgy Mississippi mud pie, the huge wedge of buttermilk pie or the snowy beignets, all delicious and a superb way to end a great brunch.

DRINKS

What you might not know is that Craft by Side Hustle is the GCC's first ever microbrewery. Not only are craft beers brewed on site, but cocktails come on draught too!

Choose your beer or try a whole lot in an endless round of beer flights: we love the fruity tropical traffic jam, the delayed cargo brown ale and the new craic the code - yep, you guessed it, Craft's answer to an Irish stout. Cocktails are fairly epic: start with a Moscow mule, travel through the list and finish with a cheeky espresso martini - fabulous.

With 4-hours, there is plenty of time to eat your fill and enjoy the vibe. Watch tray after tray of beer flights being delivered to tables as the music ramps up, and revellers hit the dance floor.

This is one of Abu Dhabi’s best casual brunch offerings: the quality and the vibe are both very strong, but this is no place for canapes and dainty treats, this is about delicious hearty food that you want to really get stuck in to with drinks to match.
