Fair warning: this is not the 'oh I'll just have a light lunch' brunch, the dishes at this Italian family brunch keep on coming! From a gorgeous antipasti selection, a mouth-watering foccacia to pizza, pasta, fish and meat mains this is a food selection to be reckoned with. Finish with the excellent Verso tiramisu and your brunch is made. Drinks are superb and cover all the favourites. The house beverage menu comes with prosecco, Aperol Spritz, Garibaldis and a negroni as well as pinot gris and birra Moretti.

Children are right at home with Italian food, a popcorn station, a cute little clown doing face-painting and making balloon animals and of course, the pool and beach access. The pool is right outside Verso. Surrounded by superb loungers, a great grassy area and tons of shade, it's an amazing way to finish a good family day out.

The Sunday brunch at Capila is an excellent value offering for good casual brunch food, great drinks, a fabulous pool and tons of stuff for kids. We kicked things off with three large starters, which they bring straight to your table or sun lounger.

Arriving beautifully presented on a large platter, mains feature chicken and prawn anticuchos, nachos, beef sliders, beef chorizo buns, crispy corn bites, waffle fries, and dips including guac. Enjoy a mix of tropical fruits, refreshing ice lollies as well as a passion fruit mousse with cookie pieces for a sweet fix.

There are eight cocktails to choose from served in chic glasses for the spritzes. Classic favourites like margaritas, pina coladas, and mojitos complement the spritz offering, along with a selection of beers, spirits, and wines. Both packages include mocktails, a great asset to the brunch.

The kids club is impressive with four separate rooms for air hockey and racing car machines, a large screen and bean bags, an activity room for crafts and games, and a jungle gym room for climbing and exploring. Outdoors, there’s a private kids pool with cabanas for parents to relax in if they choose: it really is a family’s dream day out!
