A New BB+ Menu Has Landed At Peaksy Yas Bay

Starters 

Ok, we always say this, but this really is a menu you’d want to share, as we struggled to choose just one starter! A really lovely watermelon feta salad is both delicious and pretty, with plenty of feta and some nuts for crispness. Peaksy’s Caesar salad is hefty, and beautifully presented: the quail eggs and beef bacon bites scattered throughout really tie the salad together. Fresh hummus scooped onto even fresher bread - so lovely and fluffy - was way less humble than we expected, and was so more-ish it disappeared quick smart. If you’re a soup lover, the lentil soup will hit the spot - filling but not heavy, and perfectly balanced with a touch of sour cream.

Mains 

Good luck choosing a main course from these winners - it’s no easy task! A solid chicken burger will please the burger lovers: the crispy breaded chicken breast, hot honey glaze and house-made pickles and slaw are a winning combination. A big hit for us is the fettuccine Bolognese - yum! The melt in the mouth Bolognese was perfectly cooked and topped with freshly grated parmesan at the table to finish.

If you’ve been chasing some genuinely impressive fish and chips - not easy to come by in Abu Dhabi - this might be the one for you. The batter on the fish was crispy, and the Nile perch was really tasty, rounded out with their house-made tartar sauce that’s perfect for dipping. Next up? Chicken Parmigiana! Big and solid, this chicken parmi topped with tomato sauce and melted cheese will hit the spot if you’ve got a big appetite. Last but not least, if you’re in the mood for a creamy, hearty pasta full of mushroom and chicken, the mushroom alfredo will hit the spot. See? No bad choices here - the kitchen at Peaksy really delivers!

Dessert 

If you’re feeling healthy, watermelon and basil is a lovely light finish and a nice palate cleanser. If you’re like us, and will always make room for a more decadent option, the Crispy Cherry is the one for you: a cherry and vanilla ganache concoction sitting upon a biscuit base, it’s sweet without being too much - the tartness of the cherry filling is a nice balance, and makes a great end to lunch. Want to keep it simple? You can opt for a couple of scoops of seasonal sorbet or ice cream instead - perfect on a hot summer day. 

Wash it all down with your pick between a refreshing classic Vi-Mojito or a Vi-Loma!

For The Hungry Kids 

If you can pry them away from the play area, keep little bellies happy with a choice of a kids meal - everything from mac & cheese to a burger, pizza, pasta or chicken nuggets - and a drink for AED60.
