Sunny skies all year round mean it’s always a great time to visit a water park in Abu Dhabi - and we’re blessed with the best: Yas Waterworld! Following a huge expansion in 2025, Yas Waterworld continues to be an absolute must-visit for residents and tourists alike - it now covers a whopping 37 acres, with over 70 rides and slides packed into the grounds!
Amidst all the action of the park, make sure you’re prepared for a day of fun in the sun with a round up of where to eat while you’re visiting Yas Waterworld. Whether it’s a proper sit-down meal - yes, without even leaving the water park - or something to grab on the go, they’ve got the lot - so you don’t have to sacrifice your tastebuds on your next visit.

Dockside Dining
Bandits Village
Starting out with the newest - and most impressive - dining spot at Yas Waterworld, Dockside Dining is a haven from the sun and the perfect spot for a longer lunch break. A limited edition new menu has just launched - the Pearl Collection, named for the freshly opened ‘The Legend of the Lost Pearl’ expansion - and it’s got three star dishes that will blow your socks off. First up? Dockside’s signature Blue ‘Pearl Oasis’ Tagliatelle (AED95) - yes, it’s blue pasta! Coloured with butterfly pea extract, it’s a total showstopper - and we can safely say, the first time we’ve eaten blue pasta in Abu Dhabi! It’s not only very pretty, the al dente tagliatelle topped with garlic butter prawns and garnished with caviar, but tasty too. Possibly the prettiest dish you’ll ever find at a water park, try this one if you’re feeling fancy!
Feeding a crowd? The Blue Pearl Giant Family Calzone (AED129) lives up to its name: it’s massive. Landing piping hot from the oven, it’s hearty and wholesome, filled with turkey ham, melted mozzarella and ricotta, and roasted veggies - perfect to keep you going through a big day of waterslides. Great for sharing!

Cute as a button, Dockside’s Lost Pearl Mousse (AED34) is a sneaky little dessert! It looks like a coconut, but (spoiler alert!) is actually a chocolate shell, filled with soft coconut and white chocolate mousse and topped with blue curacao jelly! Everything is edible, even the ‘straw’, making for a fun and Instagram-worthy sweet treat when you need a pick-me-up. The rest of the menu is firmly Italian: pizza and pasta aplenty, snacky hot appetisers or some salads if you fancy something lighter.
The restaurant makes for the perfect retreat from the action of Yas Waterworld. Downstairs is airconditioned - the only indoor dining spot at Yas Waterworld - and if you fancy a view of the slides from above there’s an open terrace upstairs too - a couple of the waterslides even splash right up against the edge!

Chubby’s Kitchen
Jebel Yas Village
If you’re having a cheat day - and let’s face it, all that running around Yas Waterworld definitely earns you a cheat day! - head to Chubby’s Kitchen. The menu is big: you’ll find everything from burgers, wraps, and sandwiches to chicken dishes from around the world - plus plenty of tasty snacks and drinks on the menu too.
Grab a seat beneath the shade canopies, amongst giant faux-cannons, and watch the pearl divers and rollercoaster action as you eat.

Salma’s Snack Shack
Jebel Yas Village
Did someone say watermelon? The ultimate Snack Shack at Yas Waterworld is Salma’s! As you walk through the park, you’ll see big, juicy, fresh watermelons being ferried in every direction, and the FOMO will kick in - you can find them at Salma’s, along with a bunch of other fruit, fresh juices and smoothies. If you want something more substantial, you can grab a pasta, sandwich or salad.

Dana’s Diner
Jebel Yas Village
After something a little different from the usual theme park fare? Dana’s Diner has dishes from across the globe, from the heart of the Emirates to the Mediterranean coast. Think your favourite hot and cold mezzés, hamsa, machboos and fluffy luqaimat - yum! They’ve even got a special menu for the little ones, perfect for kids' food at Yas Waterworld.
