We love a great burger (who doesn’t?) so we've curated the ultimate list of the best burger joints in Dubai - featuring everything from gourmet patties to classic favourites. It’s tough competition as there are so many burgers on offer, but trust us, these are some of the tastiest. Whether you're a fan of juicy beef, crispy chicken, or veggie-packed patties, our guide helps you discover Dubai’s most delicious burgers. Who will take the crown as Dubai’s best burger? Explore and decide for yourself!

Pickl

One JLT | JLT

One of the more iconic burger restaurants in Dubai, Pickl is popular for a reason. There are many branches across the city and they offer high quality burgers which will leave you wanting more (the burger is on the smaller size!). With a seared patty, their secret sauce and lots of pickles all encased in a squashy potato bun, the classic cheeseburger (AED33) does not disappoint. For our vegetarian friends, Pickl also offers a range of plant-based burger options, so if you’re not a meat eater you’re still very well looked after. It’s open 24 hours - so satisfy your burger craving no matter what time of the day or night!

Open: 24 hours

Orfali Bros

Wasp 51 | Jumeirah

3 brothers from Syria are behind the much-loved Orfali Bros and it’s hit the Dubai dining scene with a bang: gaining a Michelin star and entering the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list are just two of its many accolades. Unsurprisingly, their OB cheeseburger makes our list of best burgers in Dubai - complete with Wagyu beef in a Hokkaido bun and signature OB sauce. It’s one of the most pricy burgers on our list - coming in at AED91 - but it’s not every day you dine in a Michelin starred restaurant! The whole experience really does feel like a family affair, with excellent, friendly service and a warm atmosphere.

Open: daily | 12PM - 6PM & 7PM - 11PM

SALT

Kite Beach | Umm Suqueim

Another legendary burger name in the UAE, SALT delivers on taste. With multiple branches across Dubai, the Kite Beach outlet is the original and our favourite spot - it’s perfect for grabbing a burger after a walk or cycle along the beachfront. The SALT burger is a double beef patty, cheese, onions and their secret sauce (yum!). It’s at the higher end of cost for this kind of burger, setting you back AED48 - so it’s not a cheap option, but makes our list for the taste. With incredible views of the Arabian Gulf whilst tucking into your burger, it’s a yes from us!

Open: daily | 7AM - 5AM

Maxzi The Good Food Shop

Al Shafa Investment building | Al Quoz

For one of the best burgers in the city, head to Al Quoz and Maxzi for one of their ‘smash and smear’ burgers. Originally an online grocery shop, it opened in 2018 and has developed a growing fan base ever since. Using Wagyu beef, all their burgers are 100g and fresh - with none of the nasties. For a classic burger, you can’t go wrong with their cheeseburger (AED36), if you’re feeling hungry try the bacon double cheeseburger (AED50) or if you’re feeling fancy, we love the truffle and mushroom cheeseburger (AED45). Their signature sauce is delicious, the potato buns are squishy and they don’t skimp on the pickles and onion.

Open: daily | 8.30AM - 1.30AM

Salt Bae Burger

DIFC | Gate Village

The name Salt Bae is synonymous with good meat - and viral fame. Bucketloads of followers aside, you won’t be disappointed by this burger restaurant’s offering from the Turkish salt-sprinkling chef, Nusret Gökçe. There are 7 different burgers on the menu, ranging from AED120 for the juicy burger to a whopping AED600 for their golden burger, which features edible gold leaf - only in Dubai, right?! Inside, the decor doesn’t match the price tag - you’ll find sparse communal tables and food served on metal trays. If you fancy a cocktail with your burger, there’s a large drinks menu, but you may feel rushed off your table - it’s not a place to hang around.

Open: daily | 12PM - 12.30AM

Izu Burger

Dubai Box Park | Al Wasl

The man behind Izu burger is Izu Ani, a culinary icon in Dubai and founder of a host of other legendary Dubai restaurants. At Izu Burger, they promise not to hide behind ground beef, and offer premium ingredients for their burgers. The menu? Small and no-fuss. We love the Wagyu beef potato bun burger (AED82) in which the Izu BBQ sauce and the tartare sauce complement each other perfectly. There’s also chicken burgers and vegetarian burgers (made with a grilled portobello mushroom) available on their menu. It’s a cool venue in Box Park and worth a visit.

Open: Daily 11AM - 12AM

Alba Street

Dubai Mall Fountain Views | Downtown Dubai

Whilst a Japanese street food restaurant may not be your first go-to when you think of Dubai’s best burgers, we’ve got to recommend Alba Street’s new burger menu. Nestled in the heart of Social Distrikt, with great views of the Dubai Fountains, you will find Alba Street (a spin-off of Alba Fine Dining) which brings premium Japanese cuisine to a more accessible setting. The A5 Wagu kimchi burger (AED75) is our stand out burger from their menu: made with premium A5 Wagyu beef, this Japanese-style burger is packed with umami flavours, melted cheese, spicy house-fermented kimchi, and served in a toasted brioche bun. The open kitchen adds to a cool atmosphere and you’ll enjoy your burger surrounded by graffiti depicting traditional Japanese scenes. Fresh!

Open: daily | 11AM - 12AM

Eleven Green

Meyan Mall | Umm Suqueim 2

This award-winning burger bistro is from the team behind supper club Tano’s at 8, and many claim Eleven Green to have the best burger in Dubai. The decor is unusual for a burger restaurant - channelling Art Deco vibes and a calm feel. There are a range of burgers on the menu but the bull burger is our favourite (AED61), with a Wagyu beef patty, cheddar cheese, bull sauce, onions, bacon jam (oof) and a Hokkaido milk bun. If you’re looking for a more classic cheeseburger, the double trouble is also noteworthy. It’s popular for a reason, so be prepared to wait in line to try this critically acclaimed burger restaurant! It’s worth it.

Open: daily | 12.30PM - 12AM

High Joint

Al Manara

High Joint is up there as one of the best burger joints in Dubai. It’s award winning and has various spots across the city, including Motor City and Emirates Towers. This spot in Al Safa is small in size, with just a few stalls to perch on whilst enjoying your burger. For us, it’s all about the High Jamz burger (AED56), which features an Angus beef patty, American cheese, fried shallots, bacon jam and a ranch sauce, all in a potato bun. It’s a winning combination and deserving of its place on our best burger list!

Open: daily | 11AM - 12AM

Jun’s

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Blvd | Downtown Dubai

If you’re looking for a licensed restaurant serving one of the best burgers in Dubai, don’t sleep on Jun’s in Downtown Dubai. With views of the Burj Khalifa, you can enjoy the jalapeño onion Wagyu smash burger (AED95) washed down with one of their carefully curated drinks (we love their spiced g&t - a twist on the favourite with honey Szechuan spirit).  The man behind Jun’s is the Michelin selected, award-winning chef Kelvin Cheung. The jalapeño onion Wagyu smash burger is cleverly concocted to provide an Unami hit amongst the juicy beef patties and you’ll feel the heat from the jalapeños begin to build as you eat. It’s not your average beef burger - and in the modern Jun’s setting, it takes the idea of a burger to a whole new level!

Open: daily | 12PM - 3.30PM & 5.30PM - 1AM

Slaw

Al Hudaiba Rd | Jumeirah 1

Slaw is renowned in the Dubai burger scene: a homegrown concept, it’s gained huge popularity and is now expanding internationally. With chef Ali Yazdi behind the scenes, Slaw prides itself on fresh, premium ingredients. Low-fat patties are imported from the US and offer fiery flavours with a range of peppers from Mexico, Spain, Cuba and the USA. The patties aren’t the thickest, so we recommend the classic double cheeseburger (AED 53) which doubles up on the beef and is oozing with cheese and their signature oh lala sauce. Don’t fancy beef? Their sandos are really good, too.

Open: daily | 10AM - 3AM

Lento

Al Wasl Rd | Um al Sheif

Located in Jumeirah, Emirati chef Faisal Naser is behind Lento, and another one of the best burgers in Dubai. It’s in a cool spot, with a hip vibe and an emphasis on music, with vinyls and a DJ booth. The burgers are smashed Wagyu beef - packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. If you’re looking for the ultimate indulgence in burgers, try the double umami cheeseburger (AED61) which has caramelised onions and their signature sauce - you won’t regret it! We also love their chicken burgers, especially the honey butter (AED48), which is the right amount of crunchy and tender. It’s one of the coolest places in Dubai to have a burger - with a side of good vibes and a hip atmosphere

Open: daily | 8AM - 11.30PM
