Breakfast, Brunch & Beyond: that’s the tagline of The B Club - a hip new(ish) opening in the heart of Abu Dhabi. The menu is small but mighty - split into a handful of sandos, sweets and drinks - and food lands on your table looking super cute, just like the smiling staff. Add an extra ‘B’ to the line up for ‘brioche’ - eggs might be the hero of the menu, but stuffed into fresh baked, toasted brioche, they really hit the spot. Since opening their doors back in October 2024, you might have seen them around - their food truck popped up at BRED - but the cafe does a busy trade most mornings (they’re closed Sundays and Friday afternoon - so don’t get caught out).

Egg Bliss - AKA Scrambled Egg Sandos

There are 5 brioche egg bliss sandos on the menu - Classic, Avocado, Turkey, Mushroom Pesto, Smoked Salmon - ranging from AED28-38. True millennials, we couldn’t go past the Avocado Egg Bliss: avo, perfectly fluffy scrambled eggs, melted cheddar cheese & fresh chives on toasted brioche, drizzled with signature house sauce that delivers a spicy kick.

Coffee (And Not Coffee)

We couldn’t skip the picture-perfect Strawberry Matcha (AED34) - and as well as looking good, the creamy oat-milk iced matcha and strawberry converted our resident matcha skeptics - delicious. Not up for some strawberry flavour? Try out their regular matcha, signature B-matcha and fresh juice, or look out for seasonal specials, like hot chocolate in winter and - currently - a fresh summer mojito.

Caffeine addicts, you’ll find the usual coffee suspects on the menu - starting at AED16 for an espresso, up to AED31 for a cold brew.

Sweet Bites & Cookies We'd Queue For

Cookies that give Brooki a run for their money? We’re not kidding. At AED18 a pop, they’re a little on the spenny side, but nothing on the 35 dizzas Brooki was charging per cookie at their Mother of the Nation pop-up last year - and you don’t have to line for hours to snap one up. Clearly a favourite, the cookies were sold out not long after we stopped in, around 4PM on a Monday - we may have helped gobble them up - and it’s easy to see why. They bake more throughout the day, so they’re always fresh. We went for a double choc chunk and a white chocolate and peanut butter combo, which landed warm and gooey on the table, and left us playing for wars for the final bites.

Next time? Alongside the Oreo and red velvet cookies, the French toast is on our must-try list. Brioche that performs so well with scrambled eggs and avo deserves a chance to show off in the sweet spotlight as well.

Vibes

It’s not huge - there are 6 small tables inside - so peak times can get busy. There’s more seating outside, which will be your friend in winter, but for now you might be up for a little wait on Saturdays - but worth it. Everything’s available to takeaway as well if you’re on the move.

The interiors are cool - from the art on the walls to the boardgame stack in the corner. Staff are friendly, and it’s an easy pick for a delicious brekky or lunch, or an afternoon coffee stop between errands.
