Kurepu is a funky new Japanese spot on Hudayriat Island’s boardwalk and a perfect pitstop for a yummy frozen treat and it's pocket-friendly!
Their signature item is their Japanese crepes with your choice of either vanilla or matcha ice cream (AED30 - 35) and they are spectacular, with deluxe signature options also available.
You have to try the crepe topped with matcha ice cream as Kurepu gets this ice cream bang on! The mellow umami flavour of the matcha compliments the creamy sweetness perfectly and it doesn’t stop there: Kurepu also offers delicious mochis (AED10), soft serve cones (AED15) & bowls (AED25) with toppings, refreshing bubble teas (AED22-25) and whole cut fruit (AED25).

Yazi Cafe is one of those aesthetically pleasing neutral tone cafes with gorgeous Instagrammable interiors and this summer their mango and salted caramel ice creams will satisfy both your cravings and your wallet. With their generous portion sizes and affordable price tags, you can’t go wrong.
You can opt for either sweet or refreshing, or even better, try both as the mango hits all the fruity notes with mango pieces and sauce layered in the cup and the salted caramel has a mapley sweet finish perfectly contrasted with salty pretzel toppings. Whilst Yazi refers to them as ice creams, we find the texture to be pretty much more of a soft serve/sorbet consistency.

This may be the closest you'll get to real Italian gelato in Abu Dhabi! Get some proper, creamy gelato served in a cone or a cup and in whatever flavour you choose. We enjoyed the nocciola (hazelnut) and the pistachio best but there's going to be a flavour just for you!

Located opposite Cafe Del Mar in prime waterfront real estate on Yas Bay promenade, Pop City is a summer staple destination for refreshing frozen treats. Offering a vibrant, Instagrammable and delicious range of homemade popsicles you can’t go wrong with one of these to beat the heat!
The best thing about them? They retain their flavour right down to the last drop and they’re made with premium ingredients and real fruit so that freshness oozes out, of course, leaving you wanting more. Highly recommend the Yas Bay P1 underground parking and nipping out to one of the golf buggies that are on standby to hitch a ride around the corner!

La Torta cake and dessert shop, an if-you-know-you-know space for Nahyan Campers, has partnered with Chimnos to put a great twist on authentic Hungarian chimney cakes.
They’ve swapped out your traditional cone for a chimney cake topped with chocolate dip and filled with delicious soft serve - pure genius!
Our favourites are their mixed chocolate (AED23.10) that is packed with a chocolate and vanilla duo soft serve and decorated with a Flake, as well as the salted caramel flavour (AED24.15) with vanilla soft serve and decorated with caramel sauce, pretzels and popcorn. You can also opt for more plain flavours or ice cream sandwiches (AED15.75) too, that still keep the same Hungarian bread recipe but they serve as boats for the yummy soft serve!
