After a refresh at the start of summer, the new Butcher’s Grill Brunch is serving up a feast for meat lovers. Anyone who remembers The Foundry’s Raising The Steaks brunch will be first in line to give this one a while, seeing the return of a brunch with a focus on premium meats and signature cuts grilled fresh to perfection.

Live grilling stations aside, there is plenty of variety if you need a break from steak! Sushi, live pasta station and a generous buffet offering await. Top up your brunch trip with signature drinks, including a cocktail station, while live entertainment keeps you entertained throughout. Serving some of the best Mexican food in the city, Barbossa has got you covered for a properly fun Saturday brunch in Abu Dhabi. Get your dancing shoes on: it's all singing, all dancing and all delicious! The combination of a prime position in Yas Bay with a reputation for great drinks and fabulous nights out sets the bar high for Barbossa’s brunch, and they deliver. You can give the dancers that appear throughout a run for their money - it's a fabulous way to spend a Saturday afternoon this summer - and even better as the weather cools down and you can bop your way around the terrace.

A must-try, Craft’s brunch has a reputation for excellent - and generous - drinks service, good vibes and great, southern-inspired food, all against the backdrop of the UAE’s first brewery - how cool is that? 

Food and drinks are unlimited: you can reorder whatever you like, but pace yourself - and we always run the risk of filling up early. Kick off with starters like brisket nachos, warm pretzel or a slice or three of sourdough pizza, before getting stuck into the meat options and stellar sides (don’t skip the corn ribs). The smokehouse meats are epic - drool, burnt ends! - while the craft beers and creative cocktails are great and come quickly. Finish with the deliciously fudgy Mississippi mud pie, a huge wedge of buttermilk pie or the snowy beignets - share with your mates or order seconds, you’ll want to try more than one of these!

This Abu Dhabi brunch needs to be added to every brunch-goer’s list: the vibe is fun with a DJ alongside the hustle and bustle of a buzzing crowd and smiling staff, and it’s a brunch that doesn’t lose out on anything over summer - it’s a great time, all year round!

Saturday Afternoon Brunch at Taparelle

A hit from the outset, we’ve found our way back to Taparelle an embarrassingly large number of times since their doors opened at the end of 2024. Great for a casual lunch or a tasty and well-priced cocktail any day of the week, their Saturday brunch is hard to go past. Four things that make it one of our favourite brunches in Abu Dhabi? 

1. It’s a brilliant way to try a whole stack of things from their Mediterranean-style menu - and it’s a sharing, table brunch so you get to taste a lot! 
2. Their delicious cocktails are included in the house package - and they’re imaginative, but in an understated way. Look out for their Palma - it’s like a clarified bloody Mary - and the refreshing Nive, delicious! Mocktails are fab too. 
3. The Champagne package is just AED400 - it has to be one of the cheapest in the city. And the bubbles? Perrier Jouet. 
4. It starts at 3PM - so you don’t have the mad rush of making it to a 12PM brunch if you have things to do on a Saturday morning!

Kick back in the chic interior, or let the smell of woodfired pizza wafting across the al fresco tables whet your appetite. From garlicky prawns to perfectly cooked pasta and all the way to dessert, it hits every note. The DJ keeps the vibes high - and moves to the outdoor bar as the evening kicks off.  Whether it’s a Saturday afternoon date, a larger gathering with friends or even a relaxed brunch with the family - without sacrificing ambiance and good food - Taparelle’s Saturday brunch ticks all the boxes.

The Great Indian Brunch at Punjab Grill

Punjab Grill has a great reputation for handling dietary requirements and going above and beyond to ensure all guests are well looked after - and very well fed - and brunch is no exception. There’s a full vegetarian menu alongside the non-vegetarian offering, starting out with a burst of flavour via their small plates, followed by an epic curry adventure via The Wow Pav. 

Feeling fancy? Add on a seafood platter upgrade (AED100) or scoot on to your choice of main: classics like paneer lababdar, bhindi do pyaza and saag corn palak are on offer for the veg fans, or go for melt-in-the-mouth butter chicken, lamb rogan josh or chicken biryani. Muster your energy for dessert: a platter full of Indian-inspired sweets is the perfect sweet ending - and the gulab jamun cheesecake is a delight! Brunch is a flexible affair - you’re not constrained to a set three hour slot, instead choose any three hour window, any time Saturday or Sunday. The setting is as lovely as the cocktails, and it really is a treat!
