Say Hello To Bayside Burger - Abu Dhabi's Newest Burger Joint

It's all very uncomplicated: Bayside has a small, one page menu that does what it says on the tin. The burgers are very, very good. Soft, house made buns, superb fillings, good size - and they come quick, fresh and consistent. My favourite is the BBQ bacon jam (AED58) which has an insanely piquant little jam but not so full on that it overpowers. On my 4th visit yesterday I had the grilled chicken and that was also really light and fresh. The signature smash (AED55) is also a goodie and the shroom boom (AED52) with a crumbed mushroom is great for vegetarians.

The Big Kahuna loaded fries (AED55) are laden with a good amount of wagyu beef, bacon jam, sour cream and and you must must must get a milkshake, which look pretty and taste better. The strawberry is my usual order but the lotus is also the bomb.

Bayside is licensed to serve alcohol so you can sit on the lovely terrace and have a beer, prosecco (AED35) or a frozen marg (AED40), or a cheeky pina colada. It's right near the entrance to the beach (when it opens) and will be great for a mid-sunbathe snack.

I rate it - hence the 4 visits. It's a feel good kinda place and we need more of those!
