Chase the Sunday scaries away with a laidback afternoon at Pappas Taverna: their terrace is the perfect location for a Sunday brunch. It's light, it's green, it's aesthetic, and the food matches the vibe. There were tons of great options for starters, we loved the lamb, the light Greek salad, and the classic dips. A Sunday brunch as pretty as it is delicious, it’s quite the ‘choose your own adventure’ experience. Drinks are a la carte - so you can indulge a little or a lot - and the desserts are delicious to finish off!

Asado Saturday Brunch at Mate
Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi
The Argentinian table service brunch that comes complete with vibe, Mate’s Asado Libre brunch is never far from the top when it comes to the best brunches in Abu Dhabi! Every single dish that comes to the table scores well on both taste and presentation - from charcoal empanadas served on a bed of shells to excellent cuts of beef - Mate’s famous for their meat after all - and equally impressive seafood choices. The star of the show, in a brunch that oozes theatre, is the tomahawk flambée with its fabulous blue flame and live carving served tableside.
The incredible open kitchen, the fabulous vibey music, engaging staff and the fact that this brunch is always full all adds up to what is a brilliant Saturday afternoon brunch. A live DJ spinning Latin tracks adds to the easygoing, buzzy vibe. It’s the kind of spot you leave full, happy and already thinking about coming back.

Our current favorite brunches for food include Crust at The Four Seasons and the La Vie En Rosé Brunch at La Petite Maison.
The offering at Crust is smaller than other Saturday brunches, but every dish is exquisite, and there are plenty of pass-around trolleys. If they have the baby lobster tacos when you visit, be sure to grab a plateful!
La Vie En Rosé Brunch is a plated Sunday brunch, and we found every dish outstanding, especially the yellowtail carpaccio, sea bream, and crème brûlée - that were simply exceptional!
