Shangri-La’s Gardens of Babylon brunch delivers on all three - and that’s just the beginning! With plenty of space inside and out - and a fabulous musician in the thick of it all - this is a brunch that’s reliably a great time! The buffet selections are plentiful, and the good stuff just keeps on coming. From freshly shucked Dibba Bay oysters to a huge sushi offering - really excellent nigiri had us going back for seconds - onto a wave of grilled-to-order fresh seafood, seafood lovers are very well looked after. Epic portions for roast fans, tender cuts of meat, the most aesthetic beef Wellington with taste to match (it felt like a crime to ask for the first slice), a great Indian selection, your favourite meat cuts grilled-to-order, a top-notch Italian pizzeria in the corner churning out crispy pizza and focaccia and a very respectable Asian selection - phew! What an offering!  Dessert is epic, drinks are fab - we love the DIY stations - and it’s perfect if you have a big group with something to celebrate, but equally fun for a Saturday afternoon date!

One of Abu Dhabi’s best brunches, you don't have to sacrifice any of the top three when you spend your Saturday here: food, drinks and vibes are all 10/10! Most of the brunch is table service, but you can work your way through a fab sushi, sashimi and yakitori buffet to get things started. Table starters and mains are beautifully presented and of excellent quality - everything from fresh ceviche to a perfectly cooked steak will cross your table. Save room for desserts, there's a decadent chocolate concocton and a fab milk cake you'll love.

Drinks are plentiful and beautifully presented - there are cocktails and mocktails on the drinks menu along with wine and beer to keep everyone happy. Keep an eye out for the dancers - they're a total highlight and you'll find it hard not to join in as the afternoon wears on. Asado Saturday Brunch at Mate

‍The Argentinian table service brunch that comes complete with vibe, Mate’s Asado Libre brunch is never far from the top when it comes to the best brunches in Abu Dhabi! Every single dish that comes to the table scores well on both taste and presentation - from charcoal empanadas served on a bed of shells to excellent cuts of beef - Mate’s famous for their meat after all - and equally impressive seafood choices. The star of the show, in a brunch that oozes theatre, is the tomahawk flambée with its fabulous blue flame and live carving served tableside.

Good vibes are guaranteed at Barbossa - this Mexican brunch is one of our favourites and one of the top brunches in Abu Dhabi. The food is plentiful - it’s table service, but you aren’t tied to the table and can take full advantage of the DJ spinning plenty of retro hits - and the drinks are on point. Performers appear to get you moving and grooving as brunch kicks up a gear - but make sure you book, this one fills up early.

Best brunch for families

Crust at The Four Seasons is our runaway favourite for family brunch - the kids will have a blast, and parents will have peace of mind! - with a kids play room right off the main brunch dining area. Meaningful crafts, beanbags, movies, games and a kids buffet will keep the little ones occupied for hours. Adults aren’t compromising on their own brunch experience for the kids though - Crust serves up one of the top brunch offerings in Abu Dhabi!

Best brunch for a party

Always popular with big groups and anyone keen for a party, Garage’s B.I.G Brunch at W Abu Dhabi is hard to go past. As well as plenty of live stations and food that will suit even the pickiest of eaters, they aren’t tight on the drinks service - you’ll even find wine and cocktails on tap! Book in advance for big groups, as it does fill up - and enjoy the proximity to Yas Bay if you’re keen to kick on after brunch is over.

Always one of the first to book out for Christmas brunch, White does special occasions well - and are a go-to for more personal celebrations as well. Whether it's a birthday, anniversary or you have visitors in town, wow them with brunch at White. Our current favorite brunches in Abu Dhabi for food include Crust at The Four Seasons and the La Vie En Rosé Brunch at La Petite Maison. 

The offering at Crust is smaller than other Saturday brunches, but every dish is exquisite - and there are plenty of pass-around trolleys for an extra special touch. If they have the baby lobster tacos when you visit, be sure to grab a plateful! 

La Vie En Rosé Brunch is a plated Sunday brunch, and we found every dish outstanding, especially the yellowtail carpaccio, sea bream, and crème brûlée - each of these were simply exceptional!
