From all-you-can-eat to a quick bite by the beach, we’ve done the hard work for you, so save this round up for your next sushi outing.

SUSHISAMBA

Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers

With ‘sushi’ literally in their name, you can walk into SUSHISAMBA expecting great things - and they really do deliver. Premium sushi in a glamorous setting is their MO, and they hit the nail on the head. Whether you’re enjoying a chill date night, partaking in their seasonal - and very popular - brunch or just fancy some excellent fresh sushi alongside your sundowners on the terrace, there’s no bad time to visit SUSHISAMBA. Alongside fresh sushi whipped up to order, you’ll find a fusion menu blending Japanese, Brazilian & Peruvian cuisine with stunning water views in one of the most iconic locales in Abu Dhabi - it ticks a lot of boxes!

Cafe Sushi

Fairmont Bab Al Bahr

Always top of mind when we’re rating the best sushi in Abu Dhabi, Cafe Sushi at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr is hard to go past. Watch the chefs in action as they prepare sushi and sashimi right before your eyes at the sushi counter, with a huge variety of high quality a la carte sushi on the menu - alongside some tasty starters and some good options if not everyone in your party is feeling sushi (they do a nice katsu).

If you’re a sushi fanatic though, you can’t skip the unlimited sushi feast that’s available every day of the week. The ubiquitous conveyor belt adds a touch of excitement to your dining experience - is it just us, or is this half the fun? Tuck into a diverse array of fresh and 'conveyor-style' sushi during both lunch and dinner - you’ll be set no matter when those sushi cravings hit. Make a day - or night - of it, with the option to add on unlimited house beverages (red and white wine, spirits, and beer), and they offer a kids package for junior sushi fans! Take a seat indoors close to the action, or outdoors for a sushi celebration al fresco: all that’s left to do is enjoy!

Timing: 12-3PM & 7-11PM | lunch and dinner daily

Price: AED179 unlimited sushi | upgrade to unlimited house beverages AED150

Saisho Sushi Restaurant

Muroor

BB+ members enjoy 20% off a la carte menu. Not a member? Sign up here

Not just a sushi house, this casual downtown Japanese restaurant has a menu filled with hearty ramen and rice bowls too. A go-to for the surrounding offices, it’s worth the drive if you’re a little further afield - the vibe is nice, the restaurant is cosy but spacious and the staff are really friendly. The sushi really is the main event though - it’s that good! Prepared fresh, there’s a huge range of maki and nigiri - and every plate has such attention to detail. They even have a vegan sushi selection - great for dietaries. If you’re a BB+ member, you score 20% off your bill (excluding promotions and the all-you-can-eat deal), as well as 20% off pickup and delivery.

Want to go all out? Bottomless sushi isn’t the only thing on the menu for Saisho’s all-you-can-eat menu: choose a starter, then pick from a bunch of tasty ramen or stir-fry noodle dishes, but make sure you save room for the main event: a gorgeous platter of sushi. The all you can eat deal is available from noon until 8PM Sunday to Thursday, and until 10PM on Friday and Saturday, so you can splurge on the weekend as well as mid-week. Kids under 5 dine free, and 6-8 year olds are half-price.

NIRI Restaurant and Bar

Mamsha Al Saadiyat

Another perennial Abu Dhabi favourite, we love taking a seat at the counter at Niri to watch the sushi chef at work. If your timing is on point, you might see him working his magic on a giant salmon or tuna, wielding those knives like an extension of his own hands. If the weather is nice, nab a seat on the terrace and soak up those million dollar Mamsha views over Saadiyat Beach, and enjoy your sushi al fresco - there’s not a bad seat in the house at Niri.

As well as top notch sushi, Niri has a cracking business lunch, their regular menu is fab and their cocktails are both inventive and very well priced - making this a favourite spot among Abu Dhabi residents all year round. With that in mind, be sure to book ahead - especially on weekends and evenings - as it does fill up.

Timing: daily | 12PM - 11PM | until 12AM Friday & Saturday

Sushi House

Reem Island & Etihad Plaza Khalifa City

With their original branch in Khalifa City and a newly opened Reem Island branch in 2026, Sushi House is one to file away for your next neighbourhood sushi outing. Both branches are lovely inside, and they have a HUGE range of sushi, all prepared fresh to order. The Reem Island branch - inside the new Radiant complex - has water views and a kids play area, making it a nice family-friendly option for the surrounding towers. The best part? Both branches do unlimited sushi every day 12-5PM - the perfect sushi lover’s lunch, and an ideal way to try even more of their huge sushi selection. It’s a bargain at AED99 per person - and if you time it right you won’t be hungry for dinner either.

3 Fils

The Edition, Al Bateen

Landing with a lot of excitement from Dubai last year, 3Fils has proved a popular addition to the Abu Dhabi foodie scene - and they plate up some cracking sushi as part of their signature Japanese offering, alongside succulent seafood, some inventive mystery dishes and all-Wagyu everything. The dragon sushi (AED48) was polished off super fast last time we visited, and you’ll find some more niche sushi dishes too - like tamagotoro nigiri and caviar (AED125) topped with quail egg, otoro, caviar, nikiri sauce. And ok, it’s not sushi, but the seaweed salad is ‘can’t skip’ - it’s delicious.

3 Fils is a gorgeous spot for your next sushi date, with views over Al Bateen Marina and the iconic Abu Dhabi skyline in the distance. If you time your arrival for golden hour, it’s especially pretty. Oh, and keep in mind you can’t book - walk-ins only!

Want to enjoy unlimited house beverages while you eat? It’s still a total bargain, at AED239 (sushi and house beverages) or AED299 for house beverages, sushi, sashimi and seafood grill. 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant

The Galleria Al Maryah Island

Self-styled Japanese haute cuisine for eclectic foodies, the innovative and impeccable offering at 99 Sushi Bar has earned them a legion of fans - us included! - and a Michelin Star to boot. One of the best places to eat in The Galleria, make a date with 99 Sushi ASAP.

Quality is paramount here: you’d expect nothing less from a three-time Michelin-awarded restaurant in Abu Dhabi - but it really shines through. Many of the ingredients are imported fresh from Spain, where the 99 Sushi’s inception took place, and the seafood elements are truly top notch. The sushi is exquisite - the likes of Alaskan king crab gunkan, anchovy and sardine nigiri and turbot flambe nigiri with coriander oil momiji oroshi make for some creative and upmarket choices. If you’re in the mood for sushi and some extras, dig into the tasting menu for a bit of everything, or dip a toe in over lunch with their 8-course omakase menu - a business lunch with a twist.

Kinsu

Khalydiya

Kinsu has a big focus on offering a premium product, and freshness and quality ingredients are top of mind at this restaurant - including sourcing authentic ingredients direct from Japan. Every Tuesday night though, you can enjoy their love of crafting the best sushi possible - for less! AED119 will score you more than just unlimited sushi, though - you get a whole lot more bang for your dirham! Unlimited sushi is served up along with tomyum and miso soup, appetizers and nigiri as well. Sittings are two hours per table, which we think is a pretty great trade off for all the extra yummy bites you can snack on included in the price, and you can pick a time that suits you between 6-11PM.

Timing: daily | 12PM - 11PM | 6-11PM Unlimited Sushi Tuesday

Sushi Art

The Galleria, Masdar City, Al Qana

Multiple branches across Abu Dhabi - and the UAE - Sushi Art is synonymous with dependably good sushi. Spread out in three handy locations, you’re never far away from your next Sushi Art fix - and they’re of course on the delivery apps as well if you need sushi - pronto - without leaving the house.

On Wednesdays, head in for their unlimited sushi night. AED129 covers bottomless sashimi, nigiri and signature rolls, as well as a soup and a side. Not bad at all! We especially love this option if you’re doing some mid-week shopping at The Galleria, it’s a perfect choice to recharge while you shop

Kaizu

Al Zahiyah

Super highly rated, Kaizu is in a prime location on-island. Offering great sushi in a fun setting, it’s also home to one of Abu Dhabi’s few teppanyaki experiences. The sushi is really beautifully presented, with lovely little garnishes and special touches - it’s almost too pretty to eat. The mango sushi is a stand out - the freshness of the mango gives it a beautiful sweet touch without being too much - but you really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Another bonus? They have valet parking out the front - more time eating, less time searching for parking!

Open: daily | 1-11PM
