THE BEST RAMEN IN ABU DHABI? WE SAY YES!

I was very excited to try Daikan for lunch today and I'm happy to report it was very good! The menu is split into small plates, sushi/sashimi, ramen, charcoal grill and desserts. We ordered the gyoza (AED 35), chicken karaage (AED 35), shoyu ramen (AED 55), and spicy miso ramen (AED 55). The gyoza were yummy with perfectly crispy bottoms. The karaage was excellent. The ramen broths are chicken based so you can't compare them to a pork ramen, but taking this into consideration they were both very delicious and flavourful. The vibe is chill with old-school hip hop playing on vinyl. Our bill was AED 260 with two bottles of water and a cocktail, which we felt was very reasonably priced. The service could use some fine tuning. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for good ramen and small plates. I'll be back to try out more of the menu soon!
