Where do we begin? It has to be with the beer. This is proper craft brewing: every detail has been accounted for, and brewer Mitch and his encyclopaedic knowledge of the art of brewing had us enthralled. We can’t give too much away - yet! - but gone are the days of settling for sub-par tap beer in Abu Dhabi.
A LITTLE BIT SOUTHERN, A LOT US
Now for the food! Think pub grub, but elevated, surprising and undeniably delicious! Chef Troy’s passion and ingenuity is apparent in every bite: he describes the fare as ‘a little bit Southern Louisiana, a little bit Creole and a lot us’. Tuck in to anything from a reimagined pie to a perfectly executed meat platter, boozy desserts to the most moreish bar nibbles.
WELCOME TO YOUR NEW LOCAL
We LOVE the space: it feels like the local you didn’t know you’ve been looking for. From booths to sink into for a proper Sunday session and high stools at the bar for a pint with your mates, to a beer garden that opens to the waterfront, you’ll feel instantly at home. It’s the small things that really make a difference: check out the light fixtures and tasting paddles crafted from barrels and a giant mural reflecting the heritage and influence of the brewery.
BUT WHEN CAN WE GET INSIDE?
We can’t wait to share more with you in the coming days. Keep an eye out for some Best Bites exclusives, and in the meantime, we’ll be over here dreaming of Mississippi mud cake with stout ice cream and a pint of IPA that tastes like passion fruit martini in a beer glass.
