When you sit on the terrace at 18 Degrees at the iconic 'leaning tower', you feel like you're suspended over the universe. The views across to the palaces, out to sea and up into the city are nothing short of awe-inspiring.

The bar team at 18 Degrees is amazing and produce some superb cocktails and mocktails for you to enjoy. We love their AED149 sundowner package which includes 3 beverages (cocktails, mocktails, wine and beer) and 2 bar bites from the exclusive sundowner menu, Saturday - Thursday 4PM - 8PM. They're now offering shisha and you can also buy cigars, making this a really special place to spend afternoons, sunsets and evenings - an elevated experience in every respect!

BEACH HOUSE

PARK HYATT ABU DHABI

Let's be honest: Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi, Beach House nothing short of luxurious, and Beach House, right near the sand, is a must-visit this season.

Beach House sits right beside the beach with both indoor and outdoor seating space but at this time of year, we love to make the most of the incredible views and great sea breezes by sitting outside, drinks in hand. Start up on Shala Terrace, and watch the sun go down as you enjoy a range of excellent drinks then head downstairs for the amazing menu that awaits.

Chef Daniele's seafood-focused menu will have you back in Puglia as you sample fresh, incredible dishes like tre tartare, cacio e pepe ravioli and superb desserts to finish your meal. It really is superb food and we love that a meal at Beach House is of such an excellent standard, with service to match, that you really do get a sense of being on vacation!

BA:TE

EASTERN MANGROVES PROMENADE

Ba:TE is a gorgeous and probably hugely underrated restaurant, nestled alongside the beautiful mangroves of Abu Dhabi and its menu is one for the books! With a blend of Korean, Japanese and Peruvian tastes, there's sure to be something you'll love.

Join them for Friday night brunch or Saturday brunch, but start with a drink at Jumak, this most funky of hidden bars. Dining out on the Ba:TE terrace is one of the most lovely ways you can spend your time this season - we highly recommend!

KAMOON

KHALIDIYAH PALACE RAYHAAN BY ROTANA

Experience excellent al fresco dining at Kamoon, where you'll discover a great place to enjoy both traditional and contemporary Levantine cuisine. With sea views and great staff, Kamoon is a great choice this season.

There's live oud entertainment Wednesdays to Sundays from 7:30PM, and make the Arabian feel complete with a great shisha - love a different flavour? They have it! Peckish? Try the one metre kebab and the mixed grill which shine as the culinary stars.

Kamoon combines authentic Levantine cuisine, live entertainment, and the breathtaking backdrop of the Arabian Gulf, the perfect recipe for long, balmy evenings spent with friends.

BRICK ROOFTOP RESTAURANT AND BAR

Brick is back!

And we can report that the views are as stupendous as ever! Sit with drink in hand, enjoy some tapas - we loved the slightly untraditional canneloni with spinach and ricotta and the gambas - and enjoy the fabulous views over the city, giving an incredible perspective on the amazing Abu Dhabi.

On Wednesdays, head up there for an open mic night and show the world what you've got! Weekends sees the excellent Marvin Lee Presens and the After Sunset band belting out the classics. Enjoy a range of pitchers, cocktail trays and an exclusive gin bar as you look over the palaces and the sea and feel completely relaxed.

THE FALCON TERRACE

ABU DHABI GOLF CLUB

This great new terrace at Abu Dhabi Golf Club is going to be a popular spot for outdoor dining this season. With views over the golf course and a stunning, comfortable space, the Falcon Terrace is a great place for a post-round drink or a catch-up with friends.

There's a happy hour every day with shisha for just AED59 and 20% off drinks and a fabulous buy one get one on shisha on Friday ladies night. Sundays see buy one get one on cocktails, making for another great reason to spend your evening at Falcon Terrace.

ABDEL WAHAB

SOUQ AT QARYAT AL BERI

Not only is this terrace a showstopper for Abu Dhabians, it's always a great option if your goal is to show out-of-town guests some great Levantine cuisine. With views across to the mosque and a very cool Arabian feel to go with the excellent Lebanese food, this is an Abu Dhabi must-try.

The shisha is outstanding, the drinks are on point - do try the fabulous Al Maza Lebanese beer - and the staff happy to help. With the lights shining in the trees by night and the views and jetski dramas by day, there's nowhere better to while away an afternoon or evening.

PENELOPE'S JAZZ BAR & BAR AMERICAIN

YAS MARINA

Penelope's has a distinctly French feel, mostly created by the monochrome rattan furniture that graces the interior and the terrace and the sultry, jazzy tunes that have you humming along.

The terrace at Penelope's opens out onto the grass of Yas Marina, across to the playful fountains, the luxury yachts moored up and the fabulous lights of the W Hotel beyond. It feels both relaxed and upscale and sets the perfect scene for after work drinks, a relaxed dinner for two or a catch-up with good friends.

The BB+ menu for AED280 including 3 courses and unlimited house drinks is a great reason to nab a terrace seat and watch the world go by.
