For breakfast with a seaside feel, DRVN is a great place to go. Sit outside on the terrace and get an instant relax from the sea views or dine inside for a front row seat to marvel over the latest sports car they have sitting in the restaurant.
Our recommendations? Get the acai bowl (AED65), a big breakfast or these superb Nutella pancakes (AED52) for a massive sweet hit to start the day.

TASHA'S
AL BATEEN MARINA
Tasha's, on the edge of Al Bateen marina, is an Abu Dhabi institution and many people's favourite breakfast place. Tasha's is staffed by personable, smart wait staff who can make a recommendation and feel a genuine passion for their food.
The menu has the usual standards but we recommend you hit up this incredible breakfast bun which is toasted with fried bacon, egg, halloumi, mushroom and onion chutney, rocket and mayo (AED56), or the next-level French toast (AED64) ... and if you're an acai lover, the hazelnut addition is a total winner.

TEAN
JUMEIRAH AT SAADIYAT ISLAND RESORT
For the ultimate beachside breakfast, Tean is an excellent option. It's literally on the sands of Saadiyat Beach at Jumeirah Saadiyat and offers an a la carte experience to suit everyone.
There's a variety of egg dishes on offer and we suggest you try the eggs Bene on a massive wodge of English muffin with pleasantly piquant hollandaise, as well as the shakshuka which might get the best dish.
The Arabic dishes are made for sharing: a plate of the best, soft, sliced manakesh, the grilled halloumi and the absolutely fantastic bowl of warm fatteh with a great mix of meat, chickpeas and fried bread - lovely on a winter’s morning.
The pancakes, waffles and good coffee are also noteworthy!
Sharing dishes come in from AED25 for the manakesh, AED45-55 for the pancakes, while the eggs are AED65-80. There’s a kids menu with a mixture of scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles and porridge for AED35.
It’s a really nice way to start your weekend - sea air, views of ships and whitecaps and a feeling you could be anywhere get the tick from us.

RACLETTE
MAMSHA AL SAADIYAT
With it's stunning Mamsha location, unencumbered views of Soul Beach, and jungle-interiors, Raclette has been making waves on the French food scene - and for good reason.
Here you can sample a leisurely breakfast deal, at your own pace, that runs from 9AM - 12:30PM everyday. Raclette's Le Petit Déjeuner offers three delicious courses, water, and a hot drink or juice for AED85. With an option to upgrade to an hour of free flow bubbles, if you're feeling fancy!
With breakfast favourites such as fluffy mushroom omelettes and French toast on the menu, as well as some house favourites such as the baguette ham and raclette, there is something to suit everyone's fancy. And you simply must try the affogato, with it's red velvet cake and ice cream topped table side with espresso. Who ever said ice cream wasn't for breakfast?!
