BREAK YOUR FAST AT KHAIMAT SKYDOME, DUSIT THANI ABU DHABI
When you enter the Khaimat SkyDome at Dusit Thani, you really do leave the hustle and bustle of the day behind. Surrounded by twinkling lights and the lovely sounds of the traditional oud, you can exhale and enjoy a traditional breaking of the fast.
SEAFOOD
Aside from a great mezze section, seafood lovers won’t be disappointed. Mounds of fresh crab legs, mussels, and king prawns, as well as an array of seafood salads and mains, are overlooked by a stunning ice sculpture, with platters of delicious fresh sushi topped with caviar close by.
RAMADAN FAVOURITES
With a wide selection of Ramadan favourites, the Dusit Thani chefs have also made sure that both Michelin-selected Namak and Benjarong have strong representation. The aromatic Thai red curry really hit the spot and the perfectly seasoned lamb biryani was a big hit, with several diners heading back for second helpings.
The whole lamb ouzi was tender and with stations like shawarma, chaat, saj and pasta, there was something for everyone. Vegetarian options were also plentiful, with non-meat options available at most of the live stations as well as around the buffet.

DESSERTS
The huge display of baklava and a tower of chocolate looked too good to eat (almost!) and the traditional Turkish ice cream stand was fun but the chocolate fountain was our first stop, along with some of the beautiful pastries which called us more than once! The chocolate cannoli was a stand out for me - a crispy shell followed by a burst of creamy chocolate mousse. I’m ashamed to tell you how many of these I had!
The live kunafa station was also exceptional, dare I say the best I’ve had! Fresh out of the oven, the warm and crispy kunafa is then drizzled with honey and topped with finely chopped pistachio - so good!
With friendly and attentive service, a relaxed atmosphere, and a stunning setting, it’s a perfect place to enjoy good company and good food this Ramadan.
