Whether you’re a sweet or a savoury breakfaster, EL&N provides the goods: we loved all the egg dishes we tried and the mini pancakes, served in a bowl looking for all the world like Froot Loops with real fruit were a hit with the kids … ok, and the adults! There’s an amazing range of coffees, teas and other yummy concoctions, perfect for a Mother’s Day treat.

We love an all day breakfast menu, and Tashas are serving up breakfast favourites until 6PM daily - so you can treat mum to a sleep in AND breakfast! The picture perfect Al Bateen backdrop is also ideal for a wander post-breakfast, and the hustle and bustle of the sunny Marina brings a relaxed holiday vibe.
No matter how you like your eggs, you’ll find your favourite here, and there are no shortage of alternatives too: think crispy rostis, French toast, their super fresh berry banana split breakfast, sandwiches and quesadillas galore. The interiors wouldn’t be out of place in a lifestyle magazine, with lush plants and stylish touches that strike the right balance of elegant but approachable. Push the boat out and finish with a baked treat from the cloched display on the counter - mum’s choice, of course!

Head to Antonia Trattoria in Al Zeina for your weekend fix of the best Italian breakfast items in Abu Dhabi. We loved the cornetti, croissants filled with patisserie cream, pistachio or Nutella, the massive plump bombas and the ciambella, perfect for someone who wants a sweet fix without any filling.
The egg dishes are also incredible and you can wash all this down with a big pot of Moka or a lovely, creamy cappuccino. This is the ultimate mum spoil!

Their weekend Rise & Dine unlimited breakfast comes in at AED89, and you get to pick your morning fuel: coffee, tea, and fresh watermelon or orange juice and best of all, filtered water! The menu includes 7 dishes and a variety of sides including avocado toast, a gorgeous Cretan omelette and homemade hash browns amongst many others - don’t miss the pancakes!
The portions are small which allows you to work your way through the entire menu and have seconds, or even thirds, while minimising food waste - dishes are made to order, another nod to a business doing their best to encourage sustainability.
