Every Sunday, the Brazilian steakhouse Chamas Churrascaria invites you to enjoy ten prime cuts of meat along with their buffet station.

MEAT PLEASE: The beautifully tender and juicy Picania was a great start to our meat expedition. The 5-hour slow-cooked beef ribs were melt-in-your-mouth incredible and paired well with their smoky and sweet barbecue sauce. Let me not forget the sauces, the bright and fresh homemade chimichurri was the perfect addition to the veal rump steak. The flank steak had great caramelisation and paired well with the Brazilian vinaigrette of olive oil, tomatoes and onions which brought lightness to the dish. Just when we thought we were done, the succulent lamb chops, grilled prawns and chicken thighs made their way to the table (it’s a good thing that we had our stretchy pants on)!

AMAZING EXTRAS: In between servings, we enjoyed seafood, Brazilian salad and nachos along with the sides of rice, black beans and farofa served to the table. The cheesy bread balls were so good that Rebecca polished them off before I could have a second one.

PINEAPPLE SURPRISE: We thought we were done when out came a whole grilled pineapple(apparently an aid to digestion)! Grilled in cinnamon sugar this beauty was sweet and oh so juicy. Reluctantly, we turned the card to red, to make sure we could enjoy this and the lavish dessert spread - the golden, crunchy churros with caramel and chocolate sauce were amazing!  

This was without a doubt, one of my favourite meaty experiences, it’s great value for money and should be on the top of every meat-lovers to-try list. Meat challenge? Conquered!
