While we've loved the taster offering in Huna, Yas Mall, we're now completely ready for the real deal - and the newly opened BB Social Dining in Rosewood Abu Dhabi did not disappoint.
The menu includes all the B-words: bao, buns and bbq ... but don't miss the maki rolls and the incredible kale tabbouleh too. There's a business lunch priced at an excellent AED110 that includes a drink, making this an amazing option for a weekday catch-up and a Saturday brunch for weekend get-togethers. Service is slick and we predict a reservations-only situation not too far into the future.

AIRPORT ROAD
These little tins of happiness took Abu Dhabi by storm some months ago, but they moved from their stores in both The Galleria and Al Wahda and took a Covid-induced hiatus until finding this great new space in the Muhairy Centre on Airport Road. They're open again and we couldn't be more excited.
What can you expect? The 5-layer 'dreamcakes' come in tins, which when opened, reveal a thick dusting of cocoa powder. The 5 layers of deliciousness underneath are made with dark chocolate brought from Belgium, France and Spain - be sure to get your spoon all the way to the bottom to maximise the experience!

This cute little corner eatery in the new mall in Khalifa City is great for a quick stop for breakfast, lunch or after school treat. Get an acai bowl to eat in or to go, pair it with a healthy muffin or bar, or a fabulous bagel and you can come away feeling healthy and virtuous!

HUNA FOOD HALL
The addition of Babu Town to Huna is a good one - there's lots to love about this fantastic modern Indian eatery with some crowd-pleasing twists. We love the butter chicken burger, the chicken tacos and the very good pani puri, as well as the Kashmiri chicken tikka roll. Biryanis are also amazing, and start at AED50.

LES DANGEREUX
MAMSHA AL SAADIYAT
This fabulous new fine dining concept from Chef Soo Yong Kim (of Cafe James fame) alongside Llorenc Sagarra, and Dani Lasa, has landed in Mamsha al Saadiyat.
It's fine dining reimagined: fresh produce is cultivated on a farm on Yas Island, dishes can be ordered for whatever 'course' you're there for, ensuring a level of dining flexibility not seen in other Abu Dhabi restaurants. Decor is chic and clean and promises an outstanding dining experience.

ADRIFT BURGER BAR

If you're looking for a burger in Yas Mall, this is definitely going to top your list. Adrift Burger Bar brings Venice Beach vibes and fuses them with a fabulously minimalist, Japanese fitout - and that's where the minimalism stops. The burgers, by Michelin star chef David Myers, have crazy good 2022 flavours. The signature burgers come with all the fixings, done extremely well, and all with either potato buns or brioche buns. Most roll in at around the AED55 mark.

GELATERIA LA ROMANA
THE GALLERIA AT AL MARYAH
This Dubai-based gelateria has opened in The Galleria and has caught the eye (and the tastebuds) of many of the Italians in the Best Bites community, for good reason. Choose from a dazzling range of gelato and enjoy in a cone or a cup. Our picks? The nocciola and the pistachio. Though we were excited to see gelsi on the menu, this was crazily sweet, so probably best for those with a firm sweet tooth.
Aside from straight gelato, you can get waffles and crepes made to order - delicious!

MOUZMARI
REEM ISLAND
It's about time Reem started to have some decent places to eat, and we think MouzMari will hit the jackpot for loads of Reemies who love great Argentinian food with an Emirati twist.
We like the look of the menu, particularly the inclusion of a skirt steak option amongst the short ribs and wagyu - go the tasty meats at tasty prices! - the great vegetarian options and the dulce de leche French toast for dessert and would love to see Reem Island getting behind this great shout from Chef Sergio and his team.
