One of Dubai's favourite Asian supermarkets has opened in Boutik Mall Abu Dhabi. 1004 Gourmet specialises in Korean, Japanese and Thai food including a pork section and an incredible choose-your-live-fish tank where you can choose your fish and have it made into sushi while you wait! There's a small restaurant attached where you can get your fill of great food and is a must for lovers of great Asian food and products.

We sat up at the counter of Saigon and watched the chefs swizzle and fry some fantastic Vietnamese food, we loved the BB Social prawns and the Elixir Bunn coffee. Sugar Moo is also open and we're excited to try a few Royce chocolates alongside a cheeky tea from T&W! Even better, Philotimos is going to be a go-to for gyros in Abu Dhabi along with a whole raft of exciting Greek delicacies. You can sit inside or outdoors on the terrace, making it a great dining option all year round.

We've been waiting in anticipation for Wake N Bake to open at Mamsha and it's finally here! The calm, minimalist design of the interior is in stark contrast to the fire and passion that the food at Wake N Bake evokes. The doughnuts are insanely good and range from AED15 for a large custard-filled handful of gloriousness to AED24 for a doughnut full of Nutella or lotus.
The restaurant also serves breakfast and the menu is fairly standard with a couple of lovely surprises we're keen to try out. Being completely honest, it is VERY hard for us to walk out of there without a box full of the best doughnuts in Abu Dhabi, but perhaps the stronger-willed amongst us will fare better!
