The chic Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island will host the four '50 Best' chefs at this incredible evening brunch event on January 28th, 2023. Enjoy the best of the best at Graphos Social Kitchen, one of Abu Dhabi's most eclectic restaurants, as they introduce chefs from London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore while enjoying a superb brunch offering including grills, a lobster counter, numerous drinks stations and cocktail bars.
And for lovers of great cocktails, don't miss mixologist and owner Patrick Pistolesi from Drink Kong in Rome, concoct some of the world's best cocktails!
The international rising star and chef-owner of Kol, Santiago Lastra, will kick off the evening by presenting a signature dish combining British produce with Mexican flavours. Kol is a go-to on London’s restaurant scene, and within two years of its opening, debuted on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2022 extended list.
Lastra's story is a fascinating one: he opened Kol during lockdown, paying attention to the smallest details and giving Londoners in the know a taste of Mexico, without the massive carbon footprint that important ingredients brings. Santiago Lastra is one to watch and experiencing his food is a must!

Hiroyasu Kawate is the chef/owner of Florilège in Tokyo and is widely viewed as one of the world's most forward-thinking, most innovative chefs. Florilège is ranked third on the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list 2022 and also made its debut on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list earlier this year for the first time at No.30. Interestingly, Kawate-san serves French food with Japanese accents (since ingredients are locally sourced), with passion, flair and with the customer in plain sight. Kawate is an intentional chef, every detail is seen to and every thought enunciated in some way on the plate.
The insanely beautiful and world renowned Mirazur in Menton was named The World's Best Restaurant in 2019 and awarded 3 Michelin stars, and at this superb brunch event, you'll get to see it's chef/owner in action. Born an Italian-Argentine, Mauro Colagreco produces food that's not only beautiful but sustainable too - you won't find any plastic in his kitchens! Chef Colagreco is known for inventing colourful dishes that tell a story and play with textures and bold contrasts. He is an exceptional chef and this is your chance to experience his food.
For lovers of dessert, this is your chance to try a creation from one of the world's most renowned and innovative pastry chefs. Widely referred to as the pastry 'queen', Chef Maira Yeo currently holds the title of Asia’s Best Pastry Chef 2022, and she recently led the opening of a dedicated dessert lounge at Cloudstreet, Singapore, ranking number 44 on the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list.
At Cloudstreet, Chef Yeo has a floor of her own to showcase her exquisite and delicious desserts. She believes in the 'less is more' philosophy, keeping her work simple and her creations divine. We can't wait to sample her work!
The co-owner and head bartender of Drink Kong, Rome, Patrick Pistolesi will serve some exceptional cocktails to round off the evening. Pistolesi’s cocktail menus are minimalist yet daring, combining 70s futurism, King Kong and Japanese influences. He has won several international bartending competitions and is also responsible for opening Italy’s first-ever dedicated gin bar. Pistolesi is a magician with drinks, providing twists and turns that make his beverages outstanding.
