Celebrating Abu Dhabi’s rich cultural heritage and traditions, the Al Hosn Festival, is in its final week this week, and is a great way to explore and enjoy Abu Dhabi’s thriving creative communities, with live performances, traditional souks, family workshops, food and beverage stalls, arts and cultural exhibits, immersive trails and re-enactment.
Kids can get involved in workshops like the inspired garment workshop, where they can design their own thobes or jalabeyas, learning techniques such as layering, symmetry, and mark making, before the whole family sets off to enjoy some traditional music at the Falaj stage.
The festival runs till the 22nd, doors open at 4PM and last entry is at 10:30PM. Tickets cost AED30 (AED15 for children) and can be purchased here.

Monday, 16th of January saw the opening ceremony of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2023, and kicks off a week of events, talks, and summits about the hot topic, sustainability.
Hosted by Masdar, this event should see some interesting conversations and speakers (past speakers include His Royal Highness King Charles III of the United Kingdom and His Royal Highness King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands), as well as some fascinating events such as the world first Green Hydrogen summit and the Innovation Zone, both held at ADNEC.

Tori No Su is bringing their Ramen Ultimate Tour to the capital. Chef Yosuke’s new menu takes ramen-loving diners on an immersive voyage of discovery dedicated to Japan’s most iconic noddle dish. Adventurers can sample delicious varieties originating from Hokkaido, Tokyo, Okinawa, and beyond.
The Ultimate Ramen Tour is available Wednesday to Monday and prices start from AED75 per dish. With an exciting new ladies night offering and a sushi masterclass, Tori No Su will be one to watch in 2023.

Abu Dhabi’s fun filled, favourite food festival, Miami Vibes, is flamingo-ing its way to the Yas Island Creative Hub for the very first time this week. The food-truck carnival is heading to Yas Island and will run till the 27th of January. The usually very pink festival has changed up its shade this time with the theme of purple rain, so the pop-up is showing off its very purple accents. With insta-worthy brands like COAL, MYLK, and Moon café, as well as having plenty of shopping options.
Miami Vibes opens at 3PM and entry is free.
