DINE: BRUNCHIN’ LIKE A BOSS AT CENTRAL
Central blasted on to our radars on Yas Bay last year, and since then it has become the place to hang with the whole family. Neon lights, pop culture references, a classic arcade and 2 bowling lanes, couple that with fab food and beverages and you’ve got fun for the whole family. If you are looking for a brunch option that the kids will love and won’t break the bank either – this could be it!
Start with a huge sharing starters platter – the Monte Cristo sandwich is a BB fave – with treats that are good for the soul (though perhaps not the waistline). Then choose your main and finish high with a sweet-tooth's dream of ice-cream sandwiches, deconstructed tiramisu, Oreo cheesecake and PB&J French toast. The drinks selection is varied, including 3 house-lemonades and 3 cocktails, as well as the house wines (incl. rose) and Budweiser and Stella.
As if the arcade wasn’t entertainment enough (the kids get AED200 gaming credit with the kids’ package), there is also a DJ spinning the tunes, plenty of crafting and colouring available and if you’re lucky you might even spot a Disney Princess!
The brunch runs every Saturday from 1PM to 4PM and is AED250 for adult’s house package and AED150 for kids 7-12, kids under 7 eat for free.

DO: SING ALONG WITH BLIPPI THE MUSICAL
Heading to Yas Island this weekend is the fun loving, energetic, Blippi and his all-singing, all-dancing, fun-for-all-ages extravaganza. Blippi The Musical has delighted thousands of young fans across 500 shows in North America and the United Kingdom, and will now make its debut in Abu Dhabi, at Etihad Arena. The show promises to be full of fun, laughter, meeting amazing new friends, and of course plenty of sing-alongs.
There are four performances available across the two days, with the doors opening at 10AM and 2PM.
For those mega-fans out there, there is even a meet and greet opportunity with none other than Blippi himself after the show with an add on meet and greet ticket.

DO: CELEBRATE ABU DHABI’S MARITIME HERITAGE
If you wish to immerse yourself in some culture this weekend than look no farther than Abu Dhabi’s Maritime Heritage Festival 2023. Returning for its second year the festival aims to introduce visitors to traditional coastal life, recreating a historic shoreline trading community with a blend of crafts, souqs, storytelling, performances, demonstrations, and traditional cuisine.
Running from the 17th – 26th of February along Abu Dhabi’s Corniche, the festival costs AED30 for adults and AED15 for kids (under 5’s free) to enter. Tickets can be purchased in advance from Platinum List.

DINE: LADIES NIGHT AT RAY’S BAR
Saturday nights are now for the girls, or at least they are at Ray’s Bar. Glam up, put on your favourite dress and heels and head up to the 62nd floor of Etihad Towers. Ladies will enjoy unlimited wines, prosecco, beer, and a choice of 3 cocktails while enjoying the sparkling lights of the city below from one of the best views in Abu Dhabi.
Girls will also receive a food platter and 25% off the a la carte menu. Ray’s Bar ladies’ night costs AED199 per lady, and the deal is available from 8PM – 10PM every Saturday.

DO: CRANK AT JUMEIRAH SAADIYAT
The UAE’s premier boutique fitness centre, CRANK, is teaming up with Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort, this weekend to bring you an epic weekend of fitness and fun to the backdrop of the stunning Saadiyat coastline. Enjoy a full body workout set against beat-pumping tracks, pedal through heavy climbs and saddle up for powerful sprints in the signature Ride sessions (not for the faint of heart), then stretch and reset with Pranayam and yoga sessions.
