
Omaka Marie is an experienced and globally-trained chef, known for her work at award-winning restaurants such as NIRI and Taparelle in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. She holds a Master’s in Culinary Leadership and Innovation from Institut Paul Bocuse(Institut Lyfe) and has a background in law, which she transitioned from to pursue her culinary career at César Ritz Colleges Switzerland.
She has extensive experience in Japanese, Modern European and Fusion cuisines, and is passionate about flavours development, innovation and team development. Omaka Marie has been recognized by Gault&Millau, Caterer Middle east in both a personal capacity and for restaurants she has led, She is presently the Head chef at Taparelle restaurant in Manarat al Saadiyat.
