Franschhoek Cellar Brut Rose NV Sparkling

Vibrant bubbles in the glass lead to fresh red apple and pear characters on the nose with hints of pomegranates. The palate offers plenty of crisp acidity on the finish leading to a dry finish. Drink as an appetizer, add to your aperitivo Spritz, or drink with soft cheeses, fresh seafood or a fruit platter.

Isabel Estate Sauvignon Blanc

For a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, this is a powerful example of one. Intense aromas of cut grass and passionfruit with subtle hints of ginger make for a complex wine. The palate offers lively acidity, attractive grapefruit and citrus flavours leading to a long and lingering finish on the mouthfeel. Can be drunk on its own, or with roast chicken, seafood and soft cheeses.

Anciano No 7 Rioja Reserva

A medium to heavier bodied dry red that sees 3 years of aging before release (a minimum of 1 yr in oak and 6 months in the bottle) in order for it to be called a Reserva Rioja within Spanish wine law. All of this adds to its complexity on both its nose and palate. Dried spices, oak, aromas of plums, dark red fruits and tobacco make for an interesting character of the wine. A little piece of Spanish wine history when you drink a wine like this given its age. Drink with red meats or hard cheeses.
